"What connects you to the Far East?" I first asked Lisa Etterich, after I had made a first acquaintance with her impressive artistic work. At first I dashy saw, he abundance of Japanese and Chinese motifs, themes and stylistic devices. The artist which lives and works in the westphalian Dülmen at the edge of the Ruhr was suprised of my question and looking for an explanation.
